Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) for Weekend Casual shifts. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to a senior in a home care setting. Shifts are either 8am-1pm or 4pm-8:30pm.

Duties:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with other specialized needs as required
-Willing to playing games, assisting with hobbies and crafts, baking, teaching new skills, going for a walk
-Assisting with light exercise

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or home care settings
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent
- Knowledge of caregiving principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
