Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for part-time positions in Vaughan. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through personalized caregiving and support.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Administer medications following prescribed schedules and safety protocols Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities Support with dementia care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed Perform light cleaning to maintain a hygienic living space Support clients with activities of daily living, including toileting and transfers Document care provided accurately and report any changes in client condition to supervisors

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is preferred Experience working with seniors, people with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus Previous caregiving or home care experience is advantageous Strong interpersonal skills and patience are essential for success in this role Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory
