Happy At Home Support Services Inc is hiring Personal Support Worker's to rotate in a permeant part time line 4pm-10:30pm Monday to Friday and every other weekend.

MUST HAVE PERSONAL VEHICLE AVAILABLE

As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Happy At Home Support Services Inc, you will be an integral part of our caregiving team, providing essential support to individuals who require assistance with their daily activities. Your role will involve fostering a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for our clients, ensuring their well-being and dignity at all times.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are respected.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.

- Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organized living space.

- Document client care activities accurately and maintain confidential client records.

- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and communicate any changes or concerns regarding client health.

- Ensure client safety by following infection control protocols and maintaining a hazard-free environment.

Qualifications:

- Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent.

- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Must have own vehicle and willing to travel around Orillia and surrounding areas

- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
