Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Consistently produce and maintain great looking stores!
  • Drive and manage Operational consistency and performance within the region.
  • Manage and maintain financial accountability across all revenue and SG&A categories.
  • Complete store walks, visits and regular meetings with management and staff.
  • Assess compliance to store merchandising as outlined in the Merchandising Manual through floor walks and constant communication with store merchandising personnel.
  • Manage the Operations Dashboard Report to identify underperforming categories and formulate a plan to remediate.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards as per Provincial legislation.
  • Manage aged inventory reports and ensure stores are following guidelines on pricing and merchandising of that product.
  • Manage and oversee operations roll outs and initiatives to ensure consistency across all locations.
  • Support and provide direction to the Visual Merchandising Team within the region.
  • Willing to make yourself available evenings and weekends as required.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • 2-3 years leadership experience
  • Proven track record in operations and customer service
Knowledge & Skills:
  • A sound understanding of The Brick P&L, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Strong work ethic, time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritize important tasks and projects to meet strict deadlines.
  • Not afraid to set ambitious goals and follow them through to completion.
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders through effective and supportive collaboration.
  • Well versed and comfortable in conflict resolution.
  • Passionate about developing people and building bench strength through constant coaching, training & mentoring.
  • Strong influencer with ability to motivate and inspire great results and accountability from team members.
  • Capable of working under pressure, multi-tasking and hitting tight timelines.
  • Willing and able to travel.
