Proposal Writer We are looking for a Proposal Writer to join our innovative and growing team. The Virtual Healthcare industry is experiencing tremendous demand and growth. We are looking for someone with a background in RFP or creative writing and a knack for story telling that is well organized, has strong project management skills and proven track record for success. This position is ideally based in our St. John\'s, NL office. There is an option for this position to be full time or part time or contractual for the right candidate. Position Overview Our Proposal Writer will be primarily responsible for the development and management of our RFP responses, as well as developing other written or creative content for our organization. This will include reviewing new opportunities, gathering required information, coordinating with other teams, managing their contributions, and pulling together captivating content for our responses and presentations. This role requires a lot of creativity, strong writing abilities, a project management approach, and the ability to create compelling content. This will be a fast paced, deadline drive role that will include working with diverse subject matter. What You Will Do

• Lead the development and completion of high-quality, winning business proposals (that are in response to formal RFPs or are unsolicited).
• Ensure adherence to the proposal process; establish schedule and key milestones, and ensure deadlines are respected by the proposal team members.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory requirements of RFP.
• Lead initial RFP identification/qualification process, communication and meetings and participate in all qualification activities.
• Reviewing scope of work of potential new business or client expansion opportunities to determine if any special provisions or deviations from standards services exist, consulting with appropriate subject matter experts as needed.
• Lead the daily monitoring of bid sites.
• You\'ll ensure that proposals are reliably packaged, formatted, and delivered through the appropriate channels, on schedule.
• Collaborate with sales leads and subject matter experts to develop solutions and content to address client-specific needs, including development of the service delivery model.
• Assist in identifying key features and benefits of the solution and support the development of win themes and competitive differentiators.
• Translate complex solutions into easily understandable proposal language, which is professionally written, concise, accurate and client specific.
• Leverage existing proposal content to increase productivity/enhance effectiveness of proposal process.
• Maintain and develop an organized repository of previous work to inform future work.
• Develop and manage templates for narrative, technical and budget content.
• Support sales leads throughout the execution of all steps in the sales process (opportunity qualification through solution design through closing) including the development of presentations, unsolicited proposals, etc.
• Researching potential clients, relevant data, and industry information to aid in bid and presentation development.
• Use compelling language and evidence to describe how Fonemed adds real value for our clients (and their clients).
• Participate in business development process improvement.
• Develop other written or creative content for the company.
• Other relevant duties as required.

Who You Are

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, English/Creative Writing, or related discipline.
• Experience in writing for diverse audiences.
• Experience with sales, marketing and/or project management is desirable.
• Experience writing RFP response preferred.
• Experience with an established provider of complex services/solutions is desirable, virtual health care experience is an asset.
• Experience working with public sector clients is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Exceptional business writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• A high level of strategic and critical thinking, attention to detail, superior planning, time management and prioritization of skills are a must.
• Analytical and creative thinker who can collaborate to develop customized, client-specific solutions.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in rapidly changing environment with challenging deadlines, including the management of multiple bids/proposals simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven flexibility and self-motivated team player.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize activities, stay focused, and produce high-quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio is required.
• Completion of Shipley training and/or Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification is an asset.
• Proficiency with desktop publishing software (InDesign and Photoshop) is an asset.
• Clear Criminal Record Check.
