Specifically, the role will focus on proposals, including research, analysis, development, tracking, and writing proposals for prospective and existing clients, along with some content management responsibilities. The Proposal Coordinator will possess superior skills in Microsoft Office Suite; skills in Adobe Creative Suite are also considered an asset. In addition, superior writing skills are required. We are looking for someone who is able to research and understand our services and client requirements, then translate that understanding into concise, clear, and compelling content. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and providing support to senior practitioners through the full proposal / presentation preparation cycle for engagement opportunities. This role will be based in our downtown Toronto office.Key Responsibilities:Liaise with management, technical, proposal and marketing staff to deliver proposals to each project\xe2\x80\x99s unique requirements and timelines.Ensure proposals are delivered by the prescribed methods (online, hand delivered, etc.) by deadlines.Search relevant procurement sites (MERX, Biddingo, Bis & Tenders, Ariba, etc.) for potential opportunities as lead consultants and sub-consultants.Enter leads in Salesforce and update as the leads progress to proposals and jobs.Produce reports for technical staff to follow up on pending/held proposals.Liaise with various groups (IT, HR, etc.) to extract information pertinent to standard responses required for proposals.Perform research to draft new material and/or update existing content.Position Requirements:Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, English, Communications, Journalism, or other relevant discipline1-3 years of experience in writing environmentsUnderstanding of professional services / construction / real estate industryStrong written and verbal communication skills, especially strong technical writing backgroundAbility to interact and build relationships with management and staff at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage people and information to create best-in-class documents under pressure: demonstrated ability to quickly change tasks as demands change.Superior MS office skills including Word, Power Point, Excel; and SharePoint; Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce experience considered an asset; ability to learn new software as required.Must be able to create aesthetically pleasing proposals and information material, format, insert photos/graphics, manipulate layout, etc. in line with Altus Group branding guidelines.What Altus Group offers:
