The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, relationship building and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to property owners and tenants.
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well maintained, property owners and tenants are satisfied, and all administrative tasks are handled efficiently.
Key responsibilities
Client (Property Owner) Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term property owner relationships
- Act as primary contact for property owners and resolve any inquiries
- Provide regular updates on property performance and maintenance
- Handle Property Owner questions, concerns, and requests promptly
- Coordinate financial reports, budgets, and statements for owners
- Ensure compliance with owner agreements and regulations
- Work with internal teams to meet owner needs
- Facilitate property inspections and prepare reports
Tenant Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants
- Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests
- Enforce lease terms and property rules
- Handle lease inquiries, renewals, and terminations
- Conduct inspections and meet tenants at propertiesRichmond Property Management
Property Maintenance & Repairs
- Schedule and oversee property inspections
- Coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs
- Ensure the property complies with safety and health regulations
- Work alongside the maintenance department to address issues, coordinate tasks
Rent Collection
- Track rent delinquencies and make arrangements for repayments with
- Issue notices, late payment notices, and handle evictions if necessary
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Knowledge of property management laws and regulations
- Ability to handle conflicts and problem-solving situations
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Buildium, AppFolio)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Requirements
- Property management or equivalent real estate experience: 5 years
- Property management certification (e.g., CPM, RPA, CAM) is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
