Compensation Range (includes salary & shift premium):

$65,000 - $70,000

Overview:

As a Property Manager Trainee at Homestead, you will be developing the skills to manage the residential operation of a portfolio of buildings in your branch. You will supervise staff while ensuring day-to-day operations are on schedule and within the prescribed budgets. An essential requirement is to be proficient in cost management while maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Manage staff in the performance of their day-to-day responsibilities Foster positive working relationships with and among reporting staff Responsible for managing NOI and CAPEX budget in your portfolio Ensure that your portfolio is operating safely and efficiently Ensure that accurate, timely, and complete documentation is maintained Analyze monthly financial statements Be available Monday to Friday during the day as well as on call for emergency situations Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree/Diploma from a recognized college or university is required Excellent verbal and written communication Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent computer and related technology skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Results oriented No experience is required, however, experience in a supervisory or management role is an asset Knowledge of Property Management procedures/law is an asset Reliable vehicle Valid Ontario driver's license
