The role is to be responsible of the daily operations of our respective buildings to ensure financial goals are met, the tenant's needs are addressed, maintenance tasks are completed, and administrative duties carried out. The following responsibilities are only guidelines and not limited to:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively market vacant units.
Aid Accounting and Leasing with respect to rental payments and security deposits.
Generate new business, set up appointments and conduct unit showings with prospective tenants.
Must be flexible to answer prospective tenant inquiries as they are received.
Arrange move-out/in inspections and prepare move-out/in reports.
Carry out all company administrative duties relative to managing revenues, controlling expenses and reporting on results.
Understand company policies and legislative requirements and ensure that they are adhered to when dealing with residents.
Co-ordinate maintenance requests including proper follow-up to ensure satisfaction and completion.
Manage cleaning team ensuring buildings are always looking their best and that suites are immaculate during their turnover in preparation for new tenants.
Inspection of buildings and vacant suites to report on any deficiencies.
Ensuring the buildings common area are well-maintained.
Qualifications and Requirements
Possess at least 3 years of hands-on residential property management experience.
Above average problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Familiarity with apartment building systems.
Flexibility to deal with issues which may arise in the evenings and on weekends, given the nature of this type of position.
Ideally knowledge of Yardi tenant portal programs or something similar.
Ability to manage cleaning and maintenance staff
