Great Blue Resorts owns and operates 10 private resort lakefront properties located throughout Ontario's cottage country. These properties offer outright ownership of beautiful pre-manufactured seasonal recreational cottages. Our resorts have full facilities including community areas, swimming pools, splash pads, multi-sports courts, playgrounds and beaches.



Role of A Property Crew



Property Crew Role Overview

The Property Crew role is designed to ensure the Corporate Objectives of maximizing profitability and Owner, Guest & Staff happiness for their resort by following the 3V Philosophy of Visibility, Velocity and Value. The Property Crew is a strong safety driver, profit focused and people oriented by providing a clean, safe, well-maintained resort.

A Great Blue Resorts Property Crew is responsible to participate in all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the Resorts facilities and maintain the resort to a clean, safe and well-maintained standard which enhances owner and guest enjoyment.

A strong Property Crew member may have some understanding of water treatment, pool maintenance, plumbing and electrical systems. They are responsible for maintenance process and health and safety regulations.

The goal is to ensure the resort facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the resorts' business operations.

Skills

The Property Crew must possess strong time management and some mechanical skills. Other strength/requirements affiliated with the position may include CPO designation (Certified Pool Operator), Propane operator certification, boaters card/license, a general knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, environmental regulations, and safe food handling requirements. A firm understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and Fire safety legislation is also a requirement of the role.

Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

The Property Crew role is to ensure the Corporate Objectives of maximizing profitability and Owner, Guest & Staff happiness of the resort, through high standards of service utilizing Survey scores and other tools. The Property Crew achieves performance excellence through Profitability, Owner & Guest Happiness, People, Property and Administration.

PROFITABILITY

Profitability is achieved through Revenue Generation, Expense Management and Administration.

Facilities management responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Revenue Generation

Once Annual budgets are agreed, the Property Crew's responsibility will include but not be limited to the following activities for achieving profitability:

a. Executes the activities to achieve profitability of Aftersales, Dock Slips, Carefree and Maintenance Jobs

i. Manage maintenance jobs for aftersales

ii. Work with 3rd party contractors to manage installs

b. Works closely with the Sales team to understand, communicate and support marketing and communication strategy.

2. Administration

a. Review all WHIMIS, Occupational Health and Safety and any additional specific safety regulations with maintenance staff prior to completing maintenance requests which require a specific skill set.



HAPPINESS

The Property Crew is responsible for achieving Happiness of Owner, Guest & Staff through strategic people and property management.



3. Property management

The Property crew must strive to deliver safe, clean and well-maintained resorts to our daily, weekly and seasonal owners and guests meeting Property Visit Survey Score expectations through the maintenance of:

a. Grounds, Gates Water supply, Electrical and Septic Systems

b. Works closely with the Development team to execute development plan.

a. Co-ordinate with siting teams, if required, to meet and exceed sales, development and new owner expectations.

b. 100% compliance with Health & Safety requirements

c. Facilities management including Beach, Boats, Marina, Docks, Multi court, Playground, Pool, Splash Pad

d. Buildings including rental units Welcome Centre, Recreational Halls

e. Amenities management including Propane, Carefree

f. Grass Cutting, trimming

g. Maintenance of equipment
