Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for an organized and motivated Property Leasing Specialist to provide a positive experience for our Tenants from initial contact to move-in. The Property Leasing Specialist will perform administrative and organizational duties such as conducting all property showings, filming Video Walk-throughs of vacant units, conducting incoming/outgoing and some preventative maintenance inspections and assessing the marketability of vacant properties. To be successful as a Property Leasing Specialist you should have excellent organizational, interpersonal and technological skills. An outstanding candidate will also be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and able to effectively deal with time-sensitive issues. Job Responsibilities: Conduct Property Showings

• Show currently Listed units to prospective Tenants in a timely manner.
• Instruct prospective Tenants on how to submit a Rental Application and educate them on the Application process.
• Provide feedback and recommendations about the prospective Tenants to the Property Marketing Specialist and Property Manager for that unit.
• Provide feedback to the Property Manager and Tenant Services Coordinator, if the property or unit does not meet acceptable standards of cleanliness and/or repair, necessary to attract a high-quality Tenant.
• Assist the Property Marketing Specialist, by filming Video Walk-throughs of vacant units, as required.

Move-in/Move-out Inspections

• Conduct Move-in and Move-out Inspections with Incoming and Outgoing Tenants, using an online platform or App as prescribed by East Vista Property Management.
• Organize and record Keys, FOBs and Remote Openers left for Incoming Tenants.
• Ensure that all Keys, FOBs and Remote Openers are returned by Outgoing Tenants.
• Ensure a positive Tenant experience, by conducting a pre-move-in Inspection, using a Checklist to ensure that a property or unit is ready for an Incoming Tenant.
• Apart from completing the Inspection Report, notify the Property Manager and Tenant Services Coordinator directly of any urgent issue or repair required for a unit, so that it is addressed quickly.

Tenant Relations

• Foster a positive relationship and end-to-end experience with our Tenants (and potential Tenants).

Other Requirements

• Facilitate the installation and removal of Lockboxes and Keys during the Property Leasing process.
• Process Improvement \xe2\x80\x93 Work with the other East Vista Staff to continually improve internal processes and Client/Tenant Experience.
• Utilize Software, online platforms and Apps, in performance of day-to-day duties, as prescribed by East Vista Property Management.
• Other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• People-oriented, dedicated to customer service, extremely organized and attentive to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Video Technology, App Based Programs and CRM tools.
• Experience in administrative assistant roles, real estate or property management is an asset.
