This includes establishing prompt relationships with insured members, review of policy coverages, liability and quantum ensuring fiduciary, regulatory and contractual compliance, and adhering to organization service standards, operational targets and core competencies.The core parts of your role will be to:Deliver a superior customer experience which includes responding to all general inquires, initiating and maintain contact with insured members, and assists with minor property and auto claims overflow.Responsible for the setup and confirming coverage for incoming claims by reviewing and compiling facts, obtaining technical reports from various parties as required, referring questionable claims, assists with determining liability and reserving, reviews subrogation opportunities, assists with negotiating and resolving minor auto and property claims in a timely manner.Responsible to ensure all correspondence is completed in a time efficient/effective manner including the creation of Critical Path, Proof of Loss, waivers and reservation rights letters.Contribute to the achievement of the department\'s overall satisfaction, audit, and disposition results focusing on the quality and efficiency of the client experience.Coordinate, direct and follow up work plan activities performed by outside appraisal assignments, contractors, experts and service providers to completion.Provide business support to the claims team as necessary which includes administrative processes, vehicle salvage handling, documentation management and rental extensions accurately.Consult with adjusters or claims manager to review and discuss problem situations as required.Responsible for data integrity, issuance of payments to vendors, insureds and experts and to maintain well-organized claim file while ensuring accuracy of data input. This work includes entering claims on claims log, salvage recoveries and reserves and maintaining the online service survey statistics and OTIP\'s document imaging system (ODIS) and partner\'s system.Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work responsibilities while maintaining attention to details.Address centralized through effective dispatch and filing.Provide support to the member servicing various product questions and/or issue resolution via chat/email as the primary communication channel.Keep claims information confidential to protect operations.Adhere to partner\'s guidelines, contracts, and insurance regulations to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.Actively participate in training sessions and collaborate with team members and management.Take an active role in creating an environment of continuous improvement of work efficiencies and highlight value work.QualificationsLet\'s Talk About You:This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:A minimum of one year\'s experience in a property and casualty claims department.Working towards CIP Designation.The ability to hold an All-Lines Adjusters license in both Ontario and Alberta (Level 1 in Alberta).Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated the ability to provide outstanding service in an accurate and efficient manner and resolve problems.Superior time management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities, including project management skills.Current Microsoft Office working knowledge.Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment including working with various computer programs, databases and software.Ability to work independently and as part of collaborative team environment.The ability to communicate in French is asset.We also consider your potential.
