Position: Property Administrator
Location: North York
Job Type: Permanent
Schedule: 5 days a week onsiteWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Property Administrator to support the daily operations and management of assigned properties, ensuring optimal performance and tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and an understanding of property management practices.Responsibilities:- Act as a point of contact for tenants regarding lease agreements, maintenance requests, and general inquiries.
- Address tenant concerns promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate lease renewals, terminations, and rental collections.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Conduct regular property inspections.
- Oversee move-in and move-out processes, including unit inspections and security deposit handling.
- Maintain accurate records of property-related transactions, leases, and contracts.
- Prepare and distribute notices, letters, and other correspondence.
- Oversee invoicing and ensure timely payment processing.
- Manage paper and electronic filing systems.
- Liaise with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate contractor payments.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations and codes.
- Implement and enforce property policies and procedures.
- Monitor insurance coverage for properties and tenants, and handle claims processing when necessary.
- Provide regular updates and reports to property owners or management regarding property performance and operational issues.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and contractors.Qualifications:- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of property management software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
