Job Overview
AMR Property Management is looking for a Property Administer to join our team!
You will be actively engaged in new property setup, general administration and renting of our properties in Simcoe County. We look forward to finding the perfect fit to join our team!
We are looking for an Administrator with extremely great computer skills, good organizational skills and able to muti-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain occupancy levels by applying experienced closing techniques.
Responsible for all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments/rooms, preparing lease paperwork, leasing administrations, and assisting new residents through the move-in process
Promptly and professionally address phone calls and emails
Qualify prospective residents to determine their needs and suitability as candidates.
Provide exceptional customer service and be able to sell the brand.
Responsible for follow-up associated with new rental applications, and incoming service for new residents.
Deliver high standards of understanding regarding product knowledge, following the leasing process and policies.
Assist with completing weekly and monthly reports as needed.
Organize, plan and schedule appointments, viewings, inspections and meetings
Update and maintain our database in our Property management software including contacts, relevant information and files.
Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices.
Prepare owners' monthly and annual statements.
Work with accounting to process monthly owner payouts
Handle and process maintenance and service requests
Maintain good relations with owners and tenants
Assist in the creation of marketing materials and sales adverts.
Responsible for sending out legal notices such as the N4s and all other LTB notices.
Responsible for working with the paralegals to handle all legal disputes between the tenants and landlords.
Requirements or skill sets:
Proven prior excellent property management experience is an asset.
Familiarity with the Ontario Residential Tenancy Act is an asset.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have great computer skills.
Proficient in MS Office suite, Outlook and G-suite
Reliability is essential. The ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships is valued.
Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations (Preferred*) Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets) (Preferred*) Ability to work under pressure and prioritize functions.
Passion for creative problem-solving and ideation of innovative solutions.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a positive team morale.
