What this job involves:



JLL is seeking an Property Administration Analyst individual to join the Property Management Team at the client's downtown office in Vancouver. You'll work closely with Property Managers to deliver critical reporting, oversee tenant account accuracy, and drive budget monitoring while playing a key part in lease administration and year-end recovery processes that keep our properties running efficiently.



This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility of working remotely for two days and in the office, three days/week .

Complete analysis, interpretation, and resolution of various real estate reports while assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements

Maintain accurate tenant accounts including charge processing, credit applications, and timely management of outstanding arrears collection

Review and interpret leases, prepare lease summary packages, and set up lease amortization charges with required reconciliations

Monitor Purchase Order system, resolve escalated issues, and process invoices in Yardi to ensure accurate and timely settlement of payables/receivables

Assist Property, Facility and Project Managers with monthly cost control monitoring to ensure budgets and commitments are not exceeded

Prepare annual budgets including operational and shared services income/expenses, and handle leasehold client charge backs with accurate invoicing

Prepare year-end tenant recovery documentation, adjustment statements, tenant communications, and input normalized budget information into the Real Estate system

Support financial accounting issue resolution, prepare appraisal data and reports, administer monthly accruals, and generate parking revenue report



Required Qualifications:



Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, property management, real estate accounting, or financial analysis

Proficiency in property management software and advanced Excel skills for financial reporting, budget preparation, and data analysis

Strong analytical and detail-oriented abilities with demonstrated experience in lease administration, tenant account management, and financial reconciliation processes

Proven organizational and time management skills; able to cope with changing tenant needs and deliver successful results within agreed upon time frames.



Preferred Qualifications:



Post secondary education is an asset, preferably in finance, accounting, or real estate management.

Pursuing an accounting designation is an asset.

Experience with Yardi Voyager
