Job Description
Our client is a well-respected local property developer looking for an accountant to join their team. The accountant will be key in completing full-cycle monthly and annual financial reporting for assigned commercial properties.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all monthly financial and management property reporting is produced according to GAAP
- Monitor property cash positions and prepare monthly cash distributions and cash calls
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Record collection, review, and monitor accounts receivable and payables
- Prepare accurate tenant chargebacks on a timely basis
- Maintain and clear tenant query log and ensure tenant files are current at all times
- Prepare all CAM/tax year-end reconciliations in accordance with tenant leases and ensure the timely delivery to tenants within specified time periods
- 2+ years of property accounting experience with Yardi, CPA is a plus but not required
- Newly designated from an accounting firm with an interest in real estate
