Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Property Accountant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property accounting, hands-on experience with

accounts payable

bank reconciliations

,

financial reporting

, and proficiency with

Buildium (software)

. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple properties efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle

property accounting

for residential and/or commercial portfolios Process

accounts payable

and ensure timely vendor payments Perform

monthly bank reconciliations

Prepare and review

financial statements

, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports Maintain accurate general ledger entries and journal entries Work with property managers to resolve accounting discrepancies Use

Buildium (software)

for accounting, reporting, and property management functions Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum

1-3 years of experience

in property accounting Strong knowledge of

accounts payable

,

bank reconciliations

, and

financial statements

Hands-on experience with

Buildium

(or similar) is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
