You are the Property Access Coordinator Responsible for doing door-to-door to asking permission for burying service wire. Demonstrates product, negotiates sale, and completes paperwork. May check up on clients repeatedly showing a commitment to customer experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Travel to different neighborhoods and suburbs going door-to-door with the goal of selling services.
• Shows how customer can maximize product features
• Show a presentation on product features.
• Convince client to purchase product using a script or persuasive technique.
• Distribute product samples
• Handing out of company service pamphlets
• Travel by foot and truck to or sell services
• Circle back and check on customers who are in the position to buy the product
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
• Work an assigned territory, often up to 200-400 houses or locations per day
• Tell customers why product is better than competitors

Qualifications:

• Working towards completion of a post-secondary education with a diploma or degree related to Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Engineering or related education
• 0-2 years related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience
• Capable of adapting information/style to the audience and explains difficult information clearly
• Experience in sales or customer service an asset but mandatory
• Effective communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form
• Capable of proactively participating in discussions, asking questions, and thinking critically
• Can do attitude and willingness to learn
