Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Propane Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving propane fuel truck. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency delivering of bulk propane to an established customer base. The driver would also be responsible to completing all assigned duties in accordance with Company policy

Duties

Operate commercial propane fuel truck. Drive routes efficiently while adhering to schedules and delivery timelines. Provide excellent customer service. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during the route. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices. Prospect and grow customer base by identifying new opportunities in surrounding communities. Adjust and/or fill in other routes and provide support with in the plant as needed. Deliver and assist with other propane and petroleum products as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Experience

Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B with a good driving record required. A clean driver's abstract required. Three years related experience and/or training helpful. High school diploma or equivalent. General math skills required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience using computers, including email, electronic log books and other applications preferred. Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position. Strong understanding of route driving dynamics and logistics management. Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
