Promotional Representative
Job Description
XMC is seeking Smart Serve-certified Promotional Representatives to represent a recognized beer and seltzer brand in Prince George.
In this role, you will assist with a variety of on-premise tastings and promotional events at local venues such as bars, restaurants, and popular nightlife locations. Brand Ambassadors collaborate closely with local brand leadership to execute engaging activations designed to create memorable consumer experiences.
As a frontline representative, you will educate consumers on the product portfolio, build enthusiasm for the brand, and serve as a key point of contact for venue staff and management.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to build hands-on marketing experience, strengthen brand engagement skills, and work in an energetic, customer-focused environment.
Shift Details & Scheduling
Primarily weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), with occasional weekday shifts tied to major sporting or special events Shifts range from 5-8 hours on site and include setup, teardown, reporting, and general event support Additional time may be required for logistics depending on the activation
Qualifications
Valid Smart Serve certification (or provincial equivalent) Background in alcohol sampling, event marketing, hospitality, sales, or customer service is an asset Strong verbal communication and presentation skills Confidence engaging with a wide range of consumers in a professional setting Personable, approachable, and customer-focused attitude Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments Reliable transportation and flexibility with scheduling
