Prom Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and fashion-forward Sales Associate to join our dynamic prom team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, customer service, and sales, with the ability to engage customers and provide personalized styling advice. As a Prom Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, curating memorable experiences, and guiding customers to their perfect prom look.

Duties

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, understanding their style preferences, and assisting with prom dress selection. Offer personalized styling advice to help customers find accessories and outfits that match their unique taste and current fashion trends. Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing key features, styles, and fits to guide customers in making informed decisions. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends, promotions, sales, and product offerings to enhance the customer experience. Assist in inventory management by restocking prom dresses, accessories, and organizing visually appealing merchandise displays. Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales goals, while contributing to a positive and stylish store environment. Engage with customers in both English and Spanish (bilingual candidates preferred) to cater to our diverse clientele.
Experience

Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within fashion or promwear, is preferred but not required. Familiarity with fashion trends and styling techniques is a plus, as well as experience in product demonstration. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers. Basic math proficiency for handling transactions and providing accurate change. A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning about fashion trends and customer service techniques.

Pay: $17.55-$19.00 per hour
