Job Description

The HSE Project Support Specialist is a front-line role which focuses on utilization of data to drive creation of risk-based recommendations and facilitate timely delivery and implementation of HSE projects and initiatives for the organization. They will be responsible for analyzing and managing the Health, Safety and Environmental data for the organization as well as project management and departmental operational scheduling.



• Create HSE project and departmental work break downs and associated schedule.
• Ownership of departmental data integrity, including data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability and hold stakeholders accountable to improve data quality moving forward.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in safety data and collaborate with leadership to implement recommendations for identified opportunities to minimize risk. Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis findings.
• Act as project lead for HSE initiatives.


• 5+ years of experience required, ideally in planning or project centric role.
• Diploma or degree in related area would be an asset.
• Any combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Relevant certifications in data analysis/scheduling and safety (preferred).
• Experience with data visualization software like Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including excel at an intermediate/expert level).
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships as a team member.
• Well-developed organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Motivated, diligent, and ready to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
