Guardian Fire Consulting & Engineering Group is a trusted partner in fire protection and life safety solutions. With the Ontario Fire Code mandating ULC S1001 Integrated Testing, we are seeking a

Project Services Coordinator

to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ULC-ULC-S1001 Integrated Testing services across Ontario.

About the Role



The Project Services Coordinator provides essential support in planning, organizing, and delivering ULC-S1001 Integrated Testing projects. This role bridges technical teams, clients, and contractors by handling scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day coordination. The Project Services Coordinator ensures that all test activities are scheduled, properly tracked, and reported while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who are looking to grow their career in project management within the fire and life safety industry.

This role supports projects across Ontario and requires availability to work during

Eastern or Central business hours

to coordinate effectively with clients, partners, and the Guardian team.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in planning and managing the delivery of ULC S1001 Integrated Testing projects Coordinate schedules, resources, and deliverables with contractors, engineers, and building owners Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring smooth communication Prepare and maintain project documentation, including test plans, reports, and compliance records Track project progress, identify risks, and flag issues requiring escalation Contribute to process improvements in project delivery and client service

Qualifications



Experience as a project coordinator, administrator, or junior project manager (within the Fire Protection & Life Safety industry is an asset) Familiarity with building systems such as fire alarm, sprinklers, emergency power, or life safety controls is an asset Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Hands-on, detailed-oriented approach to project delivery Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills for client, team, and partner interactions Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word essential), Adobe Acrobat, OneDrive, Google Docs; exposure to project tracking tools is an asset Ability to work standard business hours in the Eastern or Central time zones
