Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects are completed on time and within scope. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to read schematics and blueprints, and experience with various construction management software. The Project Scheduler will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules that align with overall project goals.

Duties

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using construction management software. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timelines are realistic and achievable. Analyze project progress and identify potential delays or issues that may impact the schedule. Review schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements and constraints. Assist in construction estimating by providing accurate timeframes for tasks. Communicate regularly with team members to provide updates on schedule changes or adjustments. Prepare reports on project status for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in project scheduling within the construction industry. Strong understanding of schematics and blueprint reading. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Strong analytical skills to assess project timelines and identify potential risks. Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. A background in project management is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
