The Opportunity:



WSP is currently looking for an

Intermediate Project Risk Coordinator

, Rail & Transit, to join our Transportation Systems team located at our Montreal office. Reporting to the T&I Canada Risk Lead, this role is responsible for supporting the application and maintenance of established risk management processes and systems. The Intermediate Project Risk Coordinator will support the Canada Risk Team in providing Risk Management support to ongoing projects and proposals.

What you can expect to do here:



Supporting the T&I Canada Risk Team through: + Facilitating workshops and risk meetings with project team members for risk identification, assessment, prioritization and development /review of risk treatment strategies, monitoring and control of risks.
+ Communicating with risk owners and project teams to assist in the development, assessment and monitoring of treatment plans.
+ Updating project risk registers in the risk database.
+ Supporting schedule and/or cost risk analysis modelling.
+ Compiling information and create risk reports for project teams on a regular or ad-hoc basis.
Working closely with other project control teams, such as scheduling and cost control.

What you'll bring to WSP:



2- 5 years of experience in a civil infrastructure / construction project context and/or a project management / project controls environment. Excellent people skills and ability to communicate in French or English effectively with a variety of project team members and stakeholders. A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to co-ordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects. Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook). Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or project management or equivalent. Understanding of the relationship between risk management and controls / management functions including project management, change control, planning & scheduling, cost & commercial management, and reporting.
