Job Description

SUMMARY



The Project & Reporting Analyst plays a dual role by supporting the successful execution of performance improvement projects while also designing and delivering business intelligence tools and analytics that enable data-driven decision-making across BGIS Professional Services. .



KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



Project Coordination



Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects. At this level, projects managed are typically of moderate complexity, risk and exposure. In collaboration with internal clients, defines project scope, deliverables and requirements. Develops and implements project plans and schedules. Determines resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines. Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion. Oversees the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion. Communicates project status to relevant concerned parties.

Data Analysis & Reporting



Gathers, compiles, and maintains large datasets from internal systems and external sources. Creates and manages dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports using Power BI and other business intelligence tools. Ensures accuracy and consistency in data through rigorous validation processes. Conducts data analysis to support business cases, performance improvement initiatives, and client reporting needs. Identifies trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency based on analytical outputs. Collaborates with other teams to support cross-functional data initiatives and projects. Supports automation and process improvement efforts through Power Automate, PowerApps, or similar tools when applicable.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS



Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Project management - proven ability and experience in delivering projects on-time, on-budget, within specifications and in-compliant with all requirements including but not limited to regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements. Exposure to reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python), with experience developing dashboards and visualizations in Power BI Communication - strong communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Relationship building - proven ability and experience in building and maintaining effective relationships Client service orientation - strong client service orientation Vendor management - proven ability and experience in managing vendor performance * Quality - possesses a continuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate best practices and technologies in order to optimize program delivery and deliver value to the client
