The GO Expansion scope: new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more.

Objective

As a Planning Project Manager you will be collaborating with the project manager to provide proper time management information to support decisions making to reach expected on time delivery performance of the project from design through handover.
You will be developing and maintaining the project schedule using best practices and you will be involved in planning deliverable issuance and facilitating reporting to all necessary stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing the schedule management requirements of the Customer
  • Defining the tender preparation schedule and monitor until the submission of the tender
  • Maintaining the Project Time Management Plan based on inputs from all stakeholders and keep it updated
  • Partnering with the Finance Project Manager to Earned Value Management (EVM) and Schedule of Values (SOV)
  • Providing support to Project Core Team on all issues related to projects schedule
  • Contributing to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule templates
Performance Measurement

On time delivery of all requested tender deliverables requested to fulfill RFP requirements, and schedule analysis for decisions by the Tender Team calling out critical paths for main milestones, planning risks, standard metrics measuring schedule robustness.

Education & Experiennce
  • BA\'s Degree in engineering or related field is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • At least 7 years of experience in Project Development Planning in transportation, industrial, construction or similar environments in complex projects such as Design-build or EPC (Engineer-Procure-Construct)
  • 7 or more years with experience in Primavera P6 and MS-Project software skills
  • 3+ years of experience working with resource load schedule (material, manpower, etc.), SOV, and EVM
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
Skills & Competencies
  • Proven experience in Planisware ODY.C
  • Desirable overall knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, resilience, and team working spirit
  • Comfortable in an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to work independently, trustworthy, and self-motivated, self-starter
  • Strict attention to detail and process-oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
