Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive project and production schedules using approved scheduling tools and ERP/MRP systems.
Coordinate with operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and PM to align all project milestones and delivery objectives.
Analyze capacity, resource availability, and leadtimes to ensure production schedules are achievable and optimized.
Track and report progress against established schedules; identify risks or delays and implement mitigation plans
support WBS and milestone planning for new and existing programs.
Maintain accurate and current schedule data within the company systems and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
Prepare and present schedule performance reports and metrics (e.g., OTD, schedule adherence) to management.
Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to ensure coordination of priorities and resolution of schedule conflicts.
Collaborate with Quality and Engineering team to assess schedule impact from nonconformances, reworks or process changes.
Plan and schedule all production activities by jobs and work centers.
Communicate job expectations, schedules, productions expectation including due dates to ensure jobs and tasks are completed on time.
Ensure materials and manufacturing documentation are ready at the production cells before they are needed.
Keep machine and production cell schedules and capacity plans up to date and provide regular reports to internal and external customers.
Co-ordinate and report on manufacturing operations, bottlenecks, performance measures, etc. communicate weekly, monthly, quarterly targets for production and work with the team members to achieve these targets across two shifts.
Collaborating with all departments (customer service, sales, purchasing, production, and shipping) to meet promised delivery dates.
Generates weekly and monthly reports in relation to schedules, shipments, overtime, volume vs forecast, unplanned absences, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelors' degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business or related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or project coordination, preferably in aerospace machining environment.
Strong understanding of machining processes (CNC milling, turning)) and associated special processes (anodize, heat treatment, CAD, NDT. etc.,)
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel
AS9100 Familiarity
Excellent Org., communication, with ability to manage multiple programs under tight deadline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Capacity Planning and resource forecasting
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement practices
Experience interfacing with OEM or Tier-1 aerospace clients
