Reports to: The Estimation and Pre-Construction Team




Job Location: Remote, supporting various projects across Canada, some site travel required



Job Summary: We are looking for a Project Planner to join our dynamic team. This role would be to support our wind, solar, and energy storage project, this requires careful planning, balanced design, detailed and precise engineering and construction schedules, and associated cost estimates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing renewable energy project schedules. They will play a key role in preparing technical and commercial proposals for projects, including cost estimates. Monitoring project management schedules will also be part of the planner's responsibilities.

Degree in engineering, engineering technology, project management, or equivalent field. Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in planning and/or estimating renewable energy or complex projects. Fluency in oral and written English. Bilingual French/English would be considered an asset Project planning skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in planning and estimating software (MS Project, etc.) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy in planning. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

What you will do to complete this mission successfully:

Develop detailed schedules for wind, solar, and energy storage projects. Collaborate with project teams to define resource and equipment requirements. Analyze project plans and specifications to identify the most important project elements. Monitor and update the schedule based on project changes. Prepare planning reports and presentations for stakeholders. Participate in project meetings and provide planning support and advice. Ensure compliance with building and energy standards and regulations.
