The primary responsibility of the Project Material Coordinator is to help ensure the day-to-day operations of the project yard run efficiently while complying with all company safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Receiving shipments;
Unloading trucks;
Organizing inventory and monitoring inventory levels to ensure materials are readily available for project needs.
Signing out material;
Moving vehicles;
Maintaining cleanliness of the yard;
Processing paperwork as required;
Adhering to company rules, policies, procedures and safe work practices; and,
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills
Class 5 drivers licence is required, Class 3 would be considered an asset;
Prior experience in materials coordinator or a similar role is preferred;
Forklift ticket would be considered an asset;
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in order to meet deadlines;
Ability to apply effective analytical/problem-solving skills to resolve any material shortages, delays or discrepancies; and,
Knowledge and experience in the electrical/construction industry would be considered a strong asset.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Regular travel to project sites, sometimes in remote areas for extended shift schedules as required;
Work is performed partly outside in all weather conditions;
Driving sometimes for long periods of time; and,
Loading and unloading materials up to 65lbs.

Pay: $64,316.52-$122,939.69 per year
