We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage a wide range of projects, primarily residential exterior based renovations including home modifications and additions. The qualified candidate will play a crucial role in communicating with homeowners, subcontractors and vendors for project materials, challenges and updates throughout the project. The project Manager will ensure that projects are completed within budget, on schedule. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of project management methodologies.
Responsibilities
Informing installers and sub trades of the scope of work for each project while managing the interplay and sequencing of the work to optimize efficiencies.
Ensuring installers and sub trades have all materials they need to complete their work, including doing pick ups in the company vehicle as required.
Liaising with clients to ensure communications are positive and productive between them and Ridgecrest staff and subcontractors.
Experience to estimate additional work costs requested by clients so that the office can produce a quote for that work as required.
Assisting with estimating the cost of labour, material and equipment; analyzing trade requirements/scope of work, as well as preparing tender documents for single and multi-family homes.
Assisting with preparing purchase orders for materials and supplies required for projects, maintaining organized records of all orders.
Manage requirements effectively to align with project goals and objectives.
Contribute to product management efforts by providing insights on cost implications of design decisions.
Willing to incorporate flexibility into hours when necessary to meet homeowners.
Willing to manage a large scope of exterior installations from smaller residential to mid size commercial.
Experience
Minimum two years of experience in the residential construction industry specific to exterior work (siding, windows, doors, roofing, eavestrough etc.)
Proven experience in project estimation in the residential construction industry, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of communication with homeowners, subcontractors and venders in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
