Leveraging best in class project management principles, the PM will lead the IT organization in implementing a pay and benefits SaaS solution to meet business needs and outcomes.
Manage stakeholder relationships with business areas, vendor, and internal IT team to ensure successful project delivery.
Support and lead executive steering committee project meetings to gain consensus, collaboration and endorsement.
Develop industry standard project documentation to support project delivery.
Lead project team to manage deliverables to scope.
Ability to support a new business in developing solutions.
Mobilizing the Project Team: Actively driving all deliverables forward by closely collaborating and coordinating with project team members.
Overseeing comprehensive business analysis and system design.
Ensuring robust security and privacy measures are embedded.
Formulating and executing a detailed testing strategy.
Spearheading organization-wide communications and change management.
Leading configuration efforts in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment.
Managing data preparation and validation for UAT.
Supervising the deployment into the production environment.
Overseeing end-user training initiatives.
Establishing a post-implementation support model in collaboration with the Ontario government\'s Service Centre and partners.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Experience required:
Deep project leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders to collaborate.
Experience leading successful Pay and Benefits project.
Experience in managing and building complex stakeholder relationships.
Experience in developing critical project delivery artefacts.
Understanding of complexities involving pay and benefits.
Experience managing executive-level stakeholders, and driving steering committee meetings.
Experience and understanding of project governance, principles and best practices.
Understanding of audit, security, and privacy principles and processes.
Understanding of public sector processes would be beneficial.
