Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Apply advanced project management expertise to ensure effective delivery of projects, including scope, schedule, budget, performance, safety, communication, human resources, contracts, materials, risks, and quality.
Lead large, multidisciplinary projects of substantial scope and complexity, with significant technical, commercial, and industry-wide impact.
Demonstrate strong leadership and independent judgment, recognized by peers and clients as a practical, innovative, and highly skilled project manager.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance business capabilities and expand opportunities.
Collaborate with a wide range of professionals (Design Engineering, Nuclear Safety, Facility Staff, Procurement, Construction) on high-impact initiatives.
Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve complex project risks.
Provide accurate and timely updates to management, project teams, and clients through proposals, reports, recommendations, and presentations.
Develop innovative technical and project solutions to meet evolving client needs.
Manage vendor performance and coordinate with internal departments to achieve project objectives.
Implement creative solutions to resolve issues, enhance efficiency, and maintain quality standards.
Ensure project schedules include critical path, cost loading, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), milestones, constraints, and logic ties.
Retain historical project data for future cost and schedule analysis.
Independently develop and present major proposals.
Establish and communicate Project Execution Plans, defining duties, responsibilities, and authority to stakeholders.
Mentor and provide direction to junior staff while reviewing complex work for accuracy and quality.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/I&C, Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or equivalent).
6+ years independently managing multidisciplinary projects with substantial scope and complexity. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a developmental role if they demonstrate strong leadership and project management capability.
Solid understanding of power generation systems, particularly nuclear plant design/operation, skid-based designs, or international power projects.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to diverse stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and change management abilities.
Proficiency in project accounting software (e.g., SAP), scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6), Microsoft Office, and related project/technical tools.
Assets
Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM).
Professional Engineer designation (PEO) or eligibility.
Ability to obtain nuclear site security clearance.
Willingness to travel across multiple locations (GTA, Kincardine, Tiverton).

Pay: $58,850.72-$150,000.00 per year
