Job Overview


We are seeking a

Project Manager/Estimator

to join our team. As a Project Manager/Estimator, you will work closely with clients and leadership to deliver effective solutions and ensure the successful execution of projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow your expertise in a dynamic consulting environment.
This is a hybrid role; the majority of the work will be completed remotely after the initial onboarding period.

Duties



Project Management:

Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring milestones, budgets, and client expectations are met.

Estimating & Cost Analysis:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and conduct project analysis using industry-standard methods and software.

Client Management:

Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, support, and solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Contract Review & Compliance:

Analyze contract specifications, construction drawings, and site conditions to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Scheduling & Coordination:

Develop and manage detailed project schedules, coordinating tasks, resources, and deliverables.

Site Review & Oversight:

Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to validate scope, assess progress, and resolve issues.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure effective communication and project alignment.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare and manage project documentation, reports, and internal communications.

Continuous Improvement:

Participate in industry training and internal development initiatives to stay current with best practices and technologies.

Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:

Support company objectives by taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements/Skills



Post-Secondary Education/College Diploma (Civil Engineering or related field preferred) Proven experience in project management and estimating within the civil construction or consulting industry Proficiency in MS Office & Adobe Suite Experience with MS Project & Bluebeam Revu considered an asset Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
