ROLE

Allteck Limited Partnership is seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager with strong estimating experience to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role blends leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to exceptional client service to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Reporting to the Director of Projects, the Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for overseeing all phases of project execution -- from initial estimates and planning through to completion. This includes managing budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Promote and embody a positive safety culture aligned with our safety mission statement. Plan, schedule, and estimate projects to ensure successful execution within budget, schedule, and contractual scope. Prepare quotations, tender submissions, and proposals. Develop detailed execution plans and manage all related project documentation. Execute projects in accordance with established budgets, timelines, and contract requirements. Monitor and control project costs; forecast financial outcomes. Manage risks, changes, and contracts throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements. Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively. Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments to support project delivery. Lead project close-out activities and ensure proper documentation and handover. Project assignments may involve temporary relocation depending on operational needs.

Education, Training & Experience

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is considered an asset Red Seal Powerline Technician certification and relevant industry experience are considered assets Experience executing electrical transmission and distribution projects is an asset

Skills & Abilities

Willingness to travel and work in various locations across the business, with flexibility to relocate temporarily based on project and operational needs. Experienced in managing construction projects, including scope breakdown, estimating, scheduling, and proposal development Proficient in project controls, contract and change management, and vendor/subcontractor coordination Effective communication, collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Capable of creating and editing project documents, materials, and presentations Strong grasp of project management standards, controls, change and contract management Skilled in estimating, scheduling (MS Project, Primavera P6), and proposal development Ability to interprets bid documents, specifications, and drawings to break down project scope for accurate planning and estimation Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and subcontractors simultaneously Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and standard business applications Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and subcontractors simultaneously Flexible and responsive to shifting priorities and deadlines. Adaptable to shifting priorities and deadlines with a high sense of urgency Valid Class 5 driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00-$185,000.00 per year
