Responsibilities:

  • Manage small and medium size environmental projects including being the technical lead, being responsible for client communication, coordinating daily activities of a fixed-task project-based team, checking work, budgeting, and invoicing
  • Work on large scale multi-disciplinary projects as the environmental subject matter lead
  • Work on design projects
  • Prepare project related technical documents including environmental reports, technical specifications, work plans, cost estimates, and construction drawings for review
  • Development and submission of proposals
  • Mentorship of junior staff

Skills, Proficiencies and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6+ years\' of experience
  • Demonstrated ability in the environmental field, with a focus on consulting work, skills development, and project management experience
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Professional Geologist (P. Geo.) designation or eligible
  • Ability to review and sign reports
  • Ability to manage and/or contribute to multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail
  • Ability for travel within the Province of Ontario for site inspections and client meetings
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills to effectively express technical information to multiple audience
  • Experience in the nuclear industry is an asset
