Define the project scope and create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities and resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) needed to successfully complete the project
Manage all components of assigned projects (estimates, budget, schedules, procurement, quality and risk)
Meeting with stakeholders to review and capture client requirements * Scheduling, attending and leading project meetings
Coordinating the general contractor during construction execution
Develop a project schedule (MS project) and review with senior management and other staff affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
Managing the design consultants during the programming, design development and construction
Establish the goals and metrics by which the project will be assessed after it is finished.
Manage the scope of work, the scheduling of subcontractors, and the staffing required in conjunction with the site staff.

University degree or diploma in engineering or construction related field requiredPrevious experience working as a Project Manager for a general contractor an asset.
Experience of 5+ years working in a Project Management role on commercial, residential, light industrial projects
Our ideal applicant must be aggressive, effective, organised, and self-assured in order to manage and oversee a variety of commercial construction projects
Ability to read and interpret building specifications and blueprints.
A strong background in commercial construction, with experience and understanding of the owner side of a construction project is a preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, etc.).
Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.

Driver\'s License with clean driving record (required)
