Green PI Inc is presently looking to provide a Project Manager (PM) with strong business analyst (BA) skills for its client. The Project Manager will support the implementation of M365 services, such as Teams, SharePoint, and a Modern Intranet. The Project Manager may also be required to provide PM and BA services for other project related work pertaining to existing client systems, which may consist of working with management and staff to establish processes, implement enhancements requests, and development and assessment of requirements, including report requirements. The PM will also be required to provide SharePoint Admin support for the SharePoint projects, including, but not limited to, the development of a Modern Intranet, OneDrive implementation, and other SharePoint initiatives.
The PM must be knowledgeable and innovative to help the business ensure their requirements are met using O365, SharePoint, Modern Intranet development and other related systems and projects. The PM will work closely with the ITSS Data Services Reporting group to provide technical report specifications on behalf of the business program area(s). The PM will work closely with Senior Management to provide IT Consultant and Account Management Services.
This is a contract opportunity from March 7, 2025 - March 31, 2027.
Responsibilities
The PM will be responsible for the following Project Manager Services:
• Working with the Project stakeholders to maintain structures for project governance and decision-making;
• Overseeing SharePoint project developers;
• Providing advice and support to the Project's Management Team for team structure, roles and accountabilities and to make recommendations for change;
• Continuing to define project objectives and selecting the most appropriate path or plan in order to satisfy project objectives;
• Defining project tasks and personnel requirements;
• Maintaining, executing, and monitoring project plans;
• Monitoring budgets, allocations and/or expenditures;
• Identifying, reporting and mitigating project risks and issues;
• Performing change management practices to achieve project deliverables;
• Managing the project communication and reporting process via status reports, meetings, and other methods as required for monitoring and accountability purposes;
• Providing IT Consultation and Account Management; and
• Other duties as assigned by the client.
The PM will also be responsible for the following Business Analyst Services:
• Conduct, lead, and support interviews and systems analysis with multiple stakeholders to gather user requirements, current and future workflows via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow analysis, use cases, scenarios, and other methods;
• Analyze and document business requirements, workflows, and processes; communicate them with related stakeholders by constructing basic conceptual data and process models, including process flowcharts and technical specifications;
• Develop and utilize standard templates, translating conceptual user requirements, and creating process models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction while developing and conducting reviews;
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide analysis, propose change strategies, and communicate proposed strategies appropriately;
• Present concepts in a concise and focused manner, including narrative, process diagrams, role and accountability diagrams and business-focused story boards;
• Develop and document test plans, test cases, and scenarios for user acceptance tests;
• Execute user acceptance tests as planned. Document and communicate test findings;
• Documentation of requirements, workflows, test plans, test cases, technical documentation, release notes, user guides, and training and other materials as necessary;
• Participating in project meetings to report on progress, issues and risk management;
• Maintain all documentation as changes are introduced; and
• Support user training for new and existing systems as required by the client.
Required Experience
The potential candidate must possess the following:
• A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience directly related to IT project management in a government environment;
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience directly related to business analysis in a government environment;
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working and supporting existing government systems in IT Shared Services;
• Extensive knowledge of, and experience working with, the following: M365 (extensive knowledge required); Microsoft SharePoint; Government applications and/or supporting Government systems including M365, internal case management solutions, etc.; and overseeing application development, developers, and testing.
• Extensive knowledge of IT project management and business analysis methods, tools and techniques;
• Knowledge or experience in:
o Project Management and Business Analysis methodologies;
o Working with large teams/clients/governance committees to document business requirements;
o Transforming business requirements into a technical specification document;
o Multi-tiered architectural environment; and
o Developing report requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment, establish priorities, and meet tight deadlines;
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts; and
• Experience working with PowerBuilder systems.
Experience in public sector environment, in particular a rapid implementation approach, will be considered an asset.
