Canotech is looking for someone with a minimum of five years Project Management experience to work as a Project Manager on jobs both in Winnipeg and in Northern Communities. Project sizes may range from $500,000.00 to $20,000,000.00 As a Project Manager you will be responsible for:
- Creating and managing project schedules
- Contract negotiation and contract management
- Coordination and communication with Superintendents, Consultants and Owners
- Subcontractor management and coordination
- Identification and mitigation of project risks
- Managing and tracking of project documents such as RFIS, PCNS, CO, etc.
- Project quality control
- Construction and project accounting
- Conflict resolution
- Chair meetings and prepare clear and concise meeting minutes
A strong candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of the construction industry, methods, and procedures
- Experience managing and maintaining a safe work environment on a jobsite
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications at a high level
- Competent with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) as well as Microsoft Project and a general aptitude for new technology and software as it is introduced
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Post secondary education pertinent to the construction field

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
