We are looking for a motivated and organized

Project Manager

to join the CCW team! Project Managers (PMs) at CCW Inc. are "Process Managers" and "Profit Makers"; they oversee and manage the related workflows and place a high level of focus on client management. The individual PM oversees and manages our established workflows on a project-by-project basis. They are expected to hold accountability to identified milestones and associated dates, with internal and external clients to effectively support production capacity requirements that align with monthly established revenue throughput.

They are responsible for managing their Project Coordinator, including one-on-ones, performance reviews, and managing time off and vacation.

Leadership & Development Responsibilities



Manage the roles and responsibilities of an assigned Project Coordinator; supporting the integrated set of activities identified in our CCW Inc. Workflow(s); towards the CCW Inc. "Perfect Release". Provide a leadership role with all supporting and collaborative CCW departments- Production- Engineering - Estimating - and Accounting / Administration as it pertains to the successful execution and delivery of each project. Motivate the project management team to a high level of performance and ensure that our level of customer service and communication is always maintained.

Main Project Manager Duties:



Oversee and manage Project Team on a project-by-project basis to effectively deliver $500K+ on average worth of revenue per month; supporting CCW's required monthly production revenues. Manage overall job costing and associated financial decisions throughout the duration of a project through to completion, as well as act as the primary point of contact with client throughout the entire project. Establish client and internally approved Schedule of Values (SOV) and purchase orders (PO) that align with project costs incurred and project billing before project startup. As a Project Manager you must establish logical action plans for each project to ensure work is completed in a timely manner, with effective consideration to the project deadline, manufacturing time available, and budget constraints, including updating Innergy*, our ERP software system.
Manage Project Start Up (PSU) Meetings with CCW department teams and align all project expectations and milestone dates with various stakeholders (internal/external clients) to accommodate CCW Inc.'s "Perfect Release". Manage and deliver all project-related Request for Information (RFI) requests after contract award. Create all project-related work orders and manage processes of all integrated activities related to workflows to accommodate the CCW Inc. "Perfect Release". Create Associated work orders to reflect site conditions, schedules and millwork released for production inclusive of all "Pre-Build & Store" Millwork/Casework items. Issue all Work Order (WO) releases to production based on established "Perfect Release" criteria/requirements. Manage the project's critical path, holding both the client and CCW Inc.'s Project Management team accountable to previously identified critical dates. Monitor daily InnergyERP bottleneck reports and communicate effective solutions to accommodate shop floor production capacities. Effectively communicate with the client CCW Inc. workflow and required milestone dates necessary to advance project timelines to meet agreed upon project schedules. Collaborate with the CCW Inc. Project Management team to ensure milestone dates are met and appropriate approvals are received. Collaborate with the CCW Purchasing Manager on all project-related purchases including manufacturing materials, site labour, sub-contract vendors and any other related acquisitions. Identify potential cost savings on a project and actively look for internal process improvements. Manage and maintain all project-related invoicing and job costing to ensure proper financial accountability is upheld. Manage all project related Change Orders (COs) and modification to overall scope and schedules. Maintain quoting and delivery of all COs to the client with the proper collaboration and input from CCW Estimators. Ensure up-to-date monthly projected billings. Ensure that proper financial accountability is upheld by our clients and of CCW's financial position and to always minimize exposure. Establish and manage project tracking sheet, to forecast billing, Production and Engineering schedule. Manage and monitor specific payment terms for all project contracts and ensure that deliveries of projects and payments - A/R are coordinated when and where necessary in accordance with payment terms set up at the onset of a project. Review and analyze all project costing using data available from CCW Accounting/ ERP and bill of materials (BOM) from Engineering. Understand and work with clearly defined product specifications, based upon contract award. Complete and total management of job sites, including site dimensions, quality of product produced and installed, monitor and plan all deficiencies (punch list) and site meetings with clients. Schedule and monitor site work/installations, ensuring that communication with field teams is upheld. This includes being responsible and on-call if site work/installations are scheduled outside of working hours. Provide a leadership role within the department and provide mentorship and guidance to the Project Coordinators. Ensure continuous coverage of all assigned projects (e.g. PM and PC have no overlapping times) Deliver weekly communication reports to clients, identifying critical roadblocks, status updates, and progress schedules. Drive critical conversations with regards to schedules, constructability of product, coordination with production and subcontractors, to ensure a successful project Responsible for successful integration of project scope (i.e. metals, upholstery, glass etc.) Accountable for margin degradation (ensure planned margins are met) Identify any process or staffing-related improvements as they become evident and voice ideas or concerns to the Project Development Manager. Always maintain a highly detailed level of project-related documentation. You may be required to defend client or vendor-related claims on the company's behalf and must ensure that you maintain proper documentation for the duration of the project. Other duties as assigned by a manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS



Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Construction Management or a related field is an asset Degree or Diploma in related field preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate preferred 1+ Year of experience as a Project Manager. 1+ Year of experience in the Commercial Architectural Millwork field. Experience managing and leading teams. Ability to work in a fully digital environment. Ability to read and interpret Architectural and Shop Drawings. Ability to manage project budgets and schedules. Work with internal customers to ensure clients expectations are met. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to take initiative and accountability regarding each assigned project. Ability to drive and manage CCW projects. Ability to work and focus on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with an upbeat attitude Dynamic and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive relations with peers, clients and internal resources Organized, self-disciplined, and capable of evaluating the weekly workload and obtaining cooperation from other departments Experience with Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat Ability to read and understand shop drawings/blueprints is an asset Valid driver's license
