Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to oversee and deliver a variety of environmental and community-based initiatives. This role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a passion for environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of environmental projects and programs.
Manage timelines, budgets, reporting, and project outcomes.
Supervise and coordinate staff, interns, or volunteers. Ensure Health and Safety protocols are implemented.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other internal documents for programs.
Working together with the Executive Director to support the Mission and Vision of the Organization.
Support grant writing, reporting, and fundraising activities as needed.
Qualifications
8+ years of project management experience (non-profit or environmental sector preferred).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Experience building partnerships and working with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with grant management, budgets, bookkeeping and reporting. Experience with Bookkeeping software is an asset.
Good HR skillset to effectively manage operations, staff, and volunteers
A background in environmental science, conservation, or a related field is an asset, but not required.
Details
Part-time: 20 hours per week (some flexibility in scheduling).
Hybrid work possible, with occasional evening or weekend commitments. In-person work is also important in order to be physically present to support the team and projects.
In-person work takes place in the Niagara Region, often in Vineland, ON.
The Project Manager reports to the Executive Director.

Pay: $36,400.00-$41,600.00 per year
