What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with at least 10 years experience in residential construction. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years experience in custom work as a Project Manager. Experience with renovations is an asset. The ideal candidate values a company that operates with integrity and believes in providing quality customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Preconstruction:
-Involved in project set up, issuing requests for bids, discussions with home owners and designers as required.
-Assist in permit submissions as required including coordination of all plans
-Manage budget and schedules
-Organize documentation for project
-Assist with safety plan implementation and all worksafe requirements
-Contract organization and administration if required
Construction:
-Update budgets as required by any changes throughout construction, and ensure change orders are issued as required
-Ensure the Site Supervisor has all information needed to ensure sites flow smoothly
-Coordination of trades on schedules
-Communication with home owners
-Coordination with architect/designer and various consultants/engineers as required throughout project as well as interior designer.
-Quality control checks for achieving design requirements
Post Construction
-Ensuring smooth handover to the client
-Ongoing client care
-Coordination of 1 year walk through
Your Skills:

Strong understanding of building materials
Ability to adapt with change as we are a growing business
Strong attention to detail
Ability to foresee potential issues that may arise
Qualifications/Education
:
Either PMP certification or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a Project Management Role.
Carpentry background is a must
