Production Roofing Foreman

Position:

United Roofing Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Project Manager for our office in Calgary. Projects vary from high end residential to large commercial projects. Hours are weather dependent, but the average is around 50 hours per week.

Job description:

Supervising multiple crews on a daily basis. Conduct various meetings with the crews. Follow all general and safety policies, procedures and practices. Interpret Blueprints. Perform regular site visits and interact with site superintendents or foremen. Forecast and order material that is not typically in stock. Attend site meetings. Coordinate deliveries, cranes, trucks, etc.. Document progress and take pictures on each job site. Assist workers with project specific safety requirements. Ensure deadlines are met with each project. Inspect work in progress. Coordinate with safety officer to ensure all projects run efficiently and safely.

Requirements:

Experience in flat roofing (5 years minimum).

Experience in a similar position (Foreman/Supervisor).

Good leadership. Ability to supervise and lead crews. Ability to conduct various meeting with the crews. Own tools and PPE. Safety tickets (WHMIS, and Fall Pro) - Recertification can/will be provided for hired workers, in the course of employment.

Assets:

Journeyman Red Seal Preferred. Roofing Certificates (Soprema, Sarnafil, Carlisle, Firestone, Iko, etc.) Valid Driver's License.

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per month
