As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Manager, Portfolio Management Office, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of project managers, business analysts and IT professionals. Candidate must have certification achieved in a recognized project management methodology (i.e. PMP).
This is a backfill position.
What You'll Do

You'll act with integrity to:
Work collaboratively with internal clients and external contacts
Demonstrate sound judgement, tact, discretion and sensitivity to the political environment, as well the ability to work quickly and under pressure

You'll support our collaboration as you:
Lead, coordinate and manage all phases of the projects related to information management and information technology initiatives
Plan and lead Technology initiatives ranging from large multi-year projects to small enhancement or upgrades initiatives
Ensure that Assembly resources are allocated appropriately to complete and sustain initiatives over the long term
Apply strategic planning and project management principles, theories, policies and practices
Balance the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
How You Qualify

You demonstrate excellence through your:
5+ years project management skills, specific to information management and technology projects with 3 years of experience in managing technology projects in a matrix environment. Preferably experience with waterfall and/or agile methodologies and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
Certification in a recognized project management methodology, i.e. PMP
Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
Sound knowledge of strategic business planning processes and practices
Superior organizational, planning and coordination skills
Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
