Duties
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects utilizing methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope management, scheduling using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and resource allocation.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform detailed requirements analysis to ensure project deliverables meet business needs.
Manage project budgets, perform cost control activities, and monitor earned value management metrics to track project performance.
Conduct risk management activities including root cause analysis and contingency planning to mitigate potential issues.
Oversee program development initiatives and coordinate project portfolio management efforts to align with strategic objectives.
Utilize project management software such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, Smartsheet, or ServiceNow for task tracking and collaboration.
Lead process mapping, business process modeling, and process management activities to optimize workflows.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levels to communicate project status, negotiate scope changes, and resolve conflicts effectively.
Implement quality management practices ensuring compliance with standards like PMBOK and ISO frameworks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen principles and Lean Six Sigma tools to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Manage vendor relationships and IT infrastructure projects as needed to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.
7+ years of experience in
network engineering
, including 3+ years in
project management
of network or telecom infrastructure projects.
Proven experience managing deployments involving
Routing/Switching, SD-WAN, Data Center, and Network Security (Firewalls, VPN, ACLs)
.
Strong knowledge of
Cisco technologies (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)
or equivalent vendor certifications.
Demonstrated ability to manage
Dell VxRail
,
SonicWall
,
Cisco ACI
, or
Umbrella
projects is a plus.
Experience using
project management methodologies
(Agile, PMI, PRINCE2, or hybrid models).
Strong understanding of
LAN/WAN architectures, TCP/IP, MPLS, QoS, and network performance optimization.
Proficiency with project tracking tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
