Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)
As a Project Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for project activities to ensure their successful delivery and will need to effectively lead a multidisciplinary team of experts to safely deliver vital train control solutions, while working within the confines of established processes and norms. As part of the role, the incumbent will also develop project plans and schedules, driving teams to deliver on their commitments on time and within budget. They will engage others within the organization to secure appropriate resources and regularly prepare and present status reports for both internal management and the customer.

Key Accountabilities:Implement and manage projects in accordance with contractual requirements and company processes. Responsible for overall project performance, schedule compliance, cash flow, and budget while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained. Strategically manage client expectations within the company's overall business goals. Evaluate the need for out-of-scope work in light of strategic project gains and enforce policies to ensure no unauthorized work is conducted. Evaluate and report on project "Estimates to Complete" following company practices, providing clarity on cost exposures and future labor needs. Review and input into the project Risk List to ensure visibility on business exposure. Manage decisions on mitigation expenditures to support the project's success. Foster a single path for the entire project team by demonstrating vision and leadership. Create an environment that motivates and focuses the project team on objectives. Display strong communication skills, ensuring clarity with senior management, the client, and the project team.


Key Requirements:Experience: + 15 years of experience in a related industry or technical/aerospace field.
+ 10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
Education: + University degree in Engineering (Electronic, Telecommunications, Informatics) or equivalent professional experience.
Skills: + Strong technical expertise in Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) railway signaling systems.
+ Proven ability to manage high-complexity projects in challenging contexts, including multicultural and international settings, with a focus on multi-disciplinary technical aspects.
+ Experienced in organizing and coordinating multiple, international remote teams effectively.
+ Self-disciplined, proactive, entrepreneurial, and strongly committed to target achievement.
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills.
+ Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
+ Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and risk assessment.
Language: + Fluent in English and capable of working effectively in international and multicultural environments.



Preferred Qualifications:PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
