ROLE- Sr. Project Manager

Location : Toronto/Halifax (in client office at least 3 days/week)

Hybrid Role

JD Overview:

We are looking for a Project Manager to support a cross-functional initiative focused on digital accessibility remediation. This role will serve as the primary liaison between the third-party agency conducting the audit, the internal development and QA teams, and senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in coordinating technical web projects within a CMS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the central point of contact across all parties involved in the accessibility remediation initiative.
Facilitate project planning, prioritization, issue resolution and team coordination
Track remediation progress against timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
Facilitate regular status meetings and working sessions between:
The external audit agency
Internal developer(s) making CMS updates
Internal QA resources validating fixes
Escalate blockers, risks, or scope changes to leadership as needed.
Ensure deliverables are aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and project goals.
Prepare and deliver weekly or biweekly updates to senior management on project status, risks, and next steps.
Document decisions, process updates, and action items.
Required Qualifications:

3-5 years' experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in digital/web projects
Experience working with or managing third-party vendors
Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and digital compliance projects
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience tracking project tasks using tools like Jira, Asana, or MS Project
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred:

Experience in enterprise CMS environments (e.g., TeamSite, AEM, Sitecore)
Understanding of front-end development processes and QA workflows
Previous experience with accessibility remediation or audit-driven projects

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
