The RSS is comprised of four essential departments: Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy (OSOT), Department of Physical Therapy (PT), Rehabilitation Sciences Institute (RSI), and the Department of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).As Project Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of project plans and workflows targeted at strengthening our programs, operational effectiveness, and continued growth across the sector. Working closely with the Director, Operations and Senior Leadership team, you will help us advance key initiatives to meet our ambitious goals and objectives, while managing key collaborations with partners of strategic importance and informing leaders of any roadblocks. Your demonstrated project management experience and your ability to drive change though data-driven recommendations will ensure that consistent high-quality administrative support is provided to all RSS programs, research and administrative services.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and implementing project phases, as well as developing and modifying project schedules to expedite and compress the critical path to meet timelines, including post-project review, audit processes, and project quality controls
  • Producing complex statistical information and financial reporting
  • Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance, informing project leaders of issues and roadblocks
  • Analyzing processes and recommending changes for more efficient coordination of operations
  • Conceptualizing, organizing and executing event activities
  • Directing workflows and scheduling of project teams as well as monitoring project expenditures and accounts
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years working within an academic and/or healthcare setting with related experience in strategy development and implementation of project plans and initiatives
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including development, implementation, and evaluation of education project initiatives
  • Data-driven with experience using various tools and approaches for analysis, decision-making and reporting, including analyzing and interpreting data findings to produce statistical information and comprehensive reports
  • Proven experience writing concise and informative reports, communication materials, briefings and proposals
  • Demonstrated experience with leading the development and recommendations for operational policies, procedures and best practices
  • Advanced MS Office Suite, Adobe Professional, and survey tools
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Superior organizational skills in planning, project management and task coordination
  • Advanced consulting skills, with the ability to work across organizations to influence decisions for a positive outcome
  • Diplomatic, professional, and persuasive in establishing strategic partnerships
  • Ability to problem solve and deal effectively with multiple priorities and projects with conflicting deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Ability to handle complex/confidential information
  • Ability to collaborate on cost estimates and to make minor purchases
