Our client is looking for an experience Project Manager to join the team. The Project Manager can build a career with real impact and longevity. The Project manager get the stability and resources of an established company and the entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit of a start-up.

RESPONSIBILITIES for the Project Manager:

• Manage and support direct reports, which include Assistant Project Managers and Coordinators.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties; Asset Management, Operations, Leasing, contractors, consultants, designers, architects, planners, municipalities, development partners and tenants on various new development projects.
• Preparation of accurate and timely reports, including but not limited to; Quarterly Accruals, Monthly Cost Variance reports, and Job Status updates.
• Preparation and review of construction budgets, project proformas and scheduling reports for internal approvals.
• Lead and/or support the tendering and procurement process for consultants and contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS for the Project Manager:

• University Degree / College Diploma in relevant field of study
• 5 years of experience in Residential Construction sector. Retail experience, an asset.
• Experience in reading drawings, construction contracts, building codes, municipal requirements, and fire code regulations.
• Excellent time management and organization skills and ability to communicate and report accurately and timely.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project and Outlook. Experience with JD Edwards, Power BI, MS Teams, Bluebeam, ProCore and/or MS Project On Line is considered an asset.
• Experience with creating and managing budgets and/or estimating is considered an asset.
