1. Prepare Project Budget Control reports to identify the approved budgets and the forecasted total project costs.
2. Participate in consultant meetings, monitor the process and consultants' minutes and send report to Head office.
3. Prepare and oversee purchase orders to trades.
4. Establish initial project requirements including identifying resources required for the project.
5. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
6. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
7. Oversee all construction for compliance with building and safety regulations
8. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
9. Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
10. Meet contractual conditions of performance
11. Review the work progress on daily basis.
12. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
13. Plan a head to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
14. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences.
15. Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
16. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
17. Maintain up-to-date best practices and implement standard project management work flow procedures, forms and templates for managing major construction projects
Requirements:
15 years working experience in construction management
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Understanding of all facets of the construction process
Familiarity with construction management software packages
Ability to plan and see the "big picture"
Competent in conflict and crisis management
Excellent time and project management skills

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
